Trunnion mounted ball valves are quarter-turn valves used to stop the flow of medium in pipelines. These valves feature a round or spherical disk in the center that rotates to start  or stop the flow. This disk is called the ball and it features a hollow center.

Ball valves are extremely versatile and are commonly used in industrial applications where tight shut-off is required.

Trunnion ball valves feature additional support part for the ball. This support part is in the shape of a shaft and is called a trunnion. The trunnion absorbs any added pressure from the flow, reducing stress on the ball and valve seats.

Trunnion ball valves are used in high-pressure, large scale applications where low operating torque is required.

Product Introduction

The lined butterfly valve not only has the strength of metal, but also has corrosion resistance characteristics. The various lined butterfly valves produced by our company are made of cast steel, stainless steel, ductile iron and other metal parts. The inner cavity and flow parts of the valve are lined with good corrosion-resistant engineering plastics and produced with advanced steel-plastic molding technology. According to different lining thickness, the lining materials can be divided into 3-8mm fluoroplastics (F46, F4, F3, PFA, PVDF), reinforced polyethylene FRPP, ultra-high molecular material polyethylene, propylene, etc. Valves have been passed electric spark and water pressure tests.

Valve body: Cast iron, nodular cast iron, carbon steel, 304/304L/316/316L

Valve seat: NBR/EPDM/PTFE/VITON special rubber of desulfurization

Valve trim: 2507 dual phase steel/1.4529 dual phase steel/Dl/WCB/CF8/CF8M/C954

Valve stem: 2Cr13/304/420/316

Actuator: Pneumatic actuator
